Long overdue is the recognition deserved of the contribution the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School made to World War II. It was the abilities of the Army Air Corp that fostered an eventful victory. Walnut Ridge staged a vital role in training pilots at that time when Americans blood ran Red, White, and Blue.
The mission of the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School Museum is to serve as an educational center to advance the public understanding and preservation of the historical significance of the school with intent to reaffirm patriotism through visual and verbal illustration. Inclusion of recognizing World War I, Korea,Vietnam, and Desert Storm veterans, also, will enable us to:
HONOR THE PAST . . . .
RESPECT THE PRESENT . . . .
and
ENTRUST THE FUTURE TO THOSE WHO SERVE TO KEEP OUR FREEDOM
