The mission of the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School Museum, Incorporated is to: (1) Serve as an education center, and to advance the public understanding. (2) Preserve the history of the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School, Walnut Ridge Marine Corps Air Facility, War Assets Administration's Warbird Disposal Operation and the USAF 725th Radar Squadron. (3) Reaffirm patriotism and honor those who served here through the collection, acquisition, restoration, preservation and display of photographs, documents, memorabilia, equipment, artifacts, and other visual media and verbal illustrations.
Those individuals giving $500 or more and corporations giving $5000 or more to the Walnut Ridge Museum will automatically become life-long members of the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School Museum, Inc., an organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing United States military history with emphasis on those who served in our area. As such a member, he/she will receive the newsletter that will keep members informed about the museum progress.
To become an active supporter of the museum, you certainly do not have to be a veteran of any war. You may just be interested in preserving history. Many wish to donate " In Honor Of " or " In Memory Of ". This type of contribution allows generations to come to recognize your contribution in this individual or organization's name. What your tax-free donation means is that "I want to help develop this facility." There can be no greater honor.
All contributions, as named below, will be included in our APPRECIATION HALL with a nameplate on a plaque indicating the contribution level. Individuals or corporation who donate $1000 or more will have individual plaques.

Membership, Memorials and Gifts
A Membership entitles you to free museum admission, the future museum newsletter, and membership card. A Memorial
$500 honors someone special with a unique plaque in the museum. For a GIFT of $500 or more, your name will be listed on a plaque in the museum. With any contribution, you will be helping honor the memory of those who sacrificed so much to maintain our freedom, and to preserve the history of the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School, Marine Corps Air Facility, W.Va. Warbird Disposal and 725th Radar Squadron.
